ZanmiLwen aims to deliver affordable, effective and technically sustainable education technology solutions for schools in Haiti. We primarily deliver Linux-based computing solutions that include
● a standardized, complete, pre-configured, plug and play network (server, workstations, printers, routers, etc.).
● a trivial, system restoration procedure to return workstations to their delivery state in under 10 minutes, when necessary.
● 500+ pre-loaded French and Kreyol open-source books.
● dozens of pre-installed educational software packages (PHeT, Scratch, Tux, Anki, etc.)
● off-line access to network resources like Wikipedia, Khan Academy, the Gutenberg Library, etc.
● French/Kreyol "how-to" videos to quickly get teachers and system administrators up and running.
We make our system images available for download, allowing anyone to replicate the software elements onto almost any other computer, including older hardware.
